Facility Management
In the last few years and with fewer trained engineers available in the industry to work on increasingly complex equipment, more and more laundries are looking to contractors to manage their on-site Engineering Support. Machine availability, throughput quality and production rates can be enhanced when using these services. We offer engineer holiday cover and planned maintenance service contracts are also available.
Service
R Brown Specialist Laundry engineering has several engineers supporting the industrial, commercial and hospital laundry industry in the UK and Ireland. These engineers are trained to minimise breakdown times and to look for long term solutions for machine reliability. We offer onsite scheduled repairs as well as 24hr emergency cover if required. Second hand machinery
R Brown Specialist Laundry Engineering has a small stock of second hand machinery in stock and we can source most things. The machinery we have in stock can either be sold as seen or it can be fully refurbished with a new PLC control panel and a single motor drive if required by J T Systems, increasing machine efficiency and extending equipment life. All our equipment is installed and commissioned by R Brown Specialist Laundry Engineering’s skilled team of engineers. This ensures minimum disruption to production schedules and enhances equipment efficiency.

Fabrication and Design
R Brown Specialist Laundry Engineering has a small team of fabricators and a designer who can manufacture most parts to your specifications. We currently make Calendar Guards, Calendar Hoods, Calendar Tape Tensioning Devices and also Batch Washing Machine Loading Conveyors.
PLC Controls
R Brown Specialist Laundry Engineering works closely with J T Systems to provide up to date solutions for all your control panel needs, be it from a washer extractor panel, to a batch washer and tumble drier panel or even a complete bag system, coupled with J T Systems Count master system, to track all of your pieces.
Energy Surveys
R Brown Specialist Laundry Engineering has recently enrolled Paul Bough, Paul is an expert in steam and condensate systems and with over 20 years in the industry he is a real asset to our business. We can now design and build entire ring mains for water, steam, condensate and air systems, as well as boiler blow down and heat recovery systems.
